The Netherlands is a huge exporter of a lot of produce, and, very importantly, flowers. A lot of these flowers are grown in huge expanses of greenhouses.
Greenhouses line the roads.
Two hallmarks of the Netherlands: greenhouses and windmills.
We climbed to the top of a building to look over the sea of greenhouses. At this location early in the mornings, thousands of flowers are bought and distributed for locations across the country and beyond.
Past the greenhouses, to the buildings beyond.
Enjoying the (cold!) windy view.
Bethyoulook sort of like a knight in that picture

I do? Why?
ReplyDeleteI see what he means - you've got the tight cowl over your head, preparatory to donning your helmet. Not sure how you got your chain mail that bright red, though... Sjaak
ReplyDeleteA knight? what are you on?
ReplyDeleteMakes sense - she is my knight in shinning armor.
